Robert Samut

Robert Samut has been a partner of our Insurance & Health team for over 10 years. He acts for insurers, self-insureds and underwriters in the areas of CTP, medical negligence, public/products liability, professional indemnity and commercial claims.

Robert has achieved outstanding outcomes in a number of highly publicised matters, which demonstrates his expertise and strategic approach to claims management. This track record sits well with his interest in and responsibilities for providing educational seminars to clients and others through Elevista Interactive Learning. International commentators and websites often pick up his commentary on insurance issues.

Robert has provided advice to numerous insurers in relation to large commercial claims arising out of the recent Queensland Floods. He has also recently published three articles relating to the Queensland Floods.

Robert has been listed in the 2015 Brisbane Doyle's Guide as a leading medical negligence and CTP & motor vehicle accident insurance lawyer. He is also a fellow of the Australian & New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance (ANZIIF).
