‘Practising in insurance is a great way to gain exposure to a wide range of matters beyond pure insurance issues, such as general commercial matters, litigation strategy and dispute resolution. Being in the early stages of my career, this is really beneficial for my professional development.’
Reena has a diverse client base, ranging from some of Australia’s largest general insurers, to large corporations, small businesses, and down to individual construction professionals, particularly architects and engineers.
‘My work at Barry.Nilsson is very varied, which helps keep it interesting. I also like the fact that I am able to work directly with partners on files. The people are great too; everyone is down to earth, friendly and supportive.’
Reena has a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Hons) and Bachelor of Business (Banking and Finance), as well as a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. She is a member of the Australian Insurance Law Association (AILA), the Law Institute of Victoria, Women in Insurance and Young Insurance Professionals.
