Rebecca joined Barry.Nilsson. in 2007 and is an Associate in our Property & Commercial team.

Since her admission in 2006 Rebecca has gained a broad range of experience in the area of property and commercial law including airport related matters. She was a part of the team involved in the Gold Coast Airport redevelopment and more recently she has advised our client during the upgrade of Longreach airport. Rebecca has recently been called upon by a client to work with one of our Partners on a new upcoming project. This is testament to the skills and experience Rebecca shows in the airport industry plus her dedication to client service and her approach to all matters.
Rebecca’s expertise also extends to the area of shopping centre leasing and development including managing a number of major supermarket leases (Woolworths, IGA), a large volume of retail shop leases and general shopping centre management issues. With Rebecca’s experience, she is also able to provide shopping centre owners with advice in instances where there is a change in ownership or ownership structure, change of mortgagee/refinancing and change of management.

During her career, Rebecca has also been involved in a number of general commercial property transactions including the acquisition and disposal of commercial residential premises.

As a skilful lawyer, Rebecca aims to achieve practical and efficient solutions for her clients. At the centre of her successes is the determination to be flexible with her advice whilst keeping commercial imperatives top of mind. She enjoys working closely with clients and seeing their projects through from start to finish. She prides herself on being readily available for all clients.
