Nerissa is a Solicitor in our Insurance & Health Law team and is based in our Sydney office.

Nerissa joined Barry.Nilsson. in 2020 as a law clerk and has assisted on complex litigations related to medical malpractice. Prior to joining Barry.Nilsson., Nerissa gained experience in an international law firm, and has assisted on a remediation project of a major Australian financial institution.

Nerissa holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts with a major in International Relations from Macquarie University. Nerissa is passionate about the community and has volunteered at the Arts Law Centre of Australia and the Aboriginal Legal Service.
