Marie Dore is a special counsel and Accredited Specialist in our Family law team, based in the Brisbane office.

Marie has practised exclusively in family law since 2001. She has extensive experience in all matters of family law disputes arising from the breakdown of marriages and de facto relationships. Marie also has valuable expertise in the resolution of property settlements. In the 2020 edition of Doyle's Guide, Marie was recognised as a Recommended Parenting & Children's Matters Lawyer for Brisbane. Marie has also been recognised in the 2021 edition of Best Lawyers for Family Law.

Marie is conversational in Japanese, and whilst at University she completed a vacation clerkship at a Tokyo law firm.
Marie has a Bachelor of Law, a Bachelor of Arts (Modern Asian Studies and Japanese) and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Marie is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, Family Law Practitioners Association, Women Lawyers Association of Queensland and Pride in Law.
