Mandy Tisler is a special counsel in our insurance and health team and is based in our Melbourne office. With 18 years’ experience in insurance law, Mandy specialises in public liability and life insurance work.
Mandy also has over 10 years’ experience defending sexual abuse claims and acted for a State entity at the hearing before the Royal Commission into Institutional Child Sexual Abuse.

Mandy brings experience in developing and leading sustainable relationships with key clients. She is also experienced in mentoring and coaching junior colleagues, sharing with them the benefits of delivering better outcomes.
Mandy has experience with private and public sector clients having worked with the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority and Parks Victoria, along with Suncorp and AIG. She has defended state entities at hearings before the Royal Commission into Institutional Child Sexual Abuse, and regularly acts on behalf of insurers and trustees in matters arising under life, total and permanent disablement and income protection policies.
She was admitted to practice in 2002 and holds a Bachelor of Laws. Mandy is also a member of Women in Insurance.
