Kingsley Grimshaw joined Barry.Nilsson.’s Brisbane office as a graduate in January 2013 and joined the firm’s Insurance & Health team in 2015 upon completion of the graduate program. He was promoted to associate in July 2017.

Kingsley’s core areas of practice are the defence of matters relating to:
- Professional indemnity
- Third party property damage
- Public liability (including litigated compulsory third party claims)
- Employment disputes
Kingsley has a particular interest in the education sector and his experience includes defending schools and education authorities in matters involving child protection issues, allegations of bullying, negligence and breach of contract.
Kingsley also has experience in managing files involving the defence of professionals such as solicitors, financial advisers and councillors.

Kingsley has a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Business Management (International Business).
