Katrina is a solicitor in our Insurance & Health team and is based in the Brisbane office.

Acting for insurers and self-insureds, Katrina has practised predominately in insurance law since her admission. She is experienced in managing all facets of claims from dispute resolution processes to complex litigation.
Katrina presently practises in public liability and health law, drawing from a strong background in CTP Insurance.

In addition to her insurance law practice, Katrina has a keen interest in electronic law including intellectual property, copyright, defamation and media law. She has experience advising a broad range of clients, from start-ups to national organisations, on their privacy obligations pursuant to national and international legislation. Katrina is also a keen public speaker, having facilitated a number of presentations on electronic law principles.
Katrina holds a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Journalism (Distinction), Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and is currently undertaking her Master of Laws. Katrina has extensive volunteering experience and currently provides pro-bono legal advice for the Nundah Community Legal Centre. She is a Management Committee Member of the Women Lawyers Association of Queensland (WLAQ).
