Evan Atkinson

Evan is a Senior Associate in our Insurance & Health team and is based in the Sydney office.

Evan specialises in:

• Professional indemnity
• Building and construction
• Property damage
• Policy construction and coverage disputes
• Commercial litigation

He has acted for a range of professional clients in litigated and unlitigated claims on instructions from both local and London based insurers, including architects, engineers, real estate agents, solicitors and barristers. Having undertaken a secondment with a large insurer, Evan possesses a thorough understanding of his client’s key business drivers, resulting in a pragmatic and commercial approach to file management.

Evan holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts. He is a member of the Australian Insurance Law Association, Young Insurance Professionals, Australasian Professional Indemnity Group and Law Society of NSW.
