Chanelle is a Senior Associate in Barry.Nilsson.’s Insurance & Health practice. She joined the Melbourne team in September 2017.

At BN, Chanelle manages litigated and unlitigated claims on a range of legal issues and across various Courts and Tribunals.

Chanelle has experience in privacy, property damage and the representation of professionals from a wide range of industries, including construction, conveyancing, financial institutions and health care. Chanelle is able to develop a strong rapport with her clients and guide them through all regulatory processes.
She also comes from a background in external dispute resolution at the Financial Ombudsman Service, including jurisdictional review, resolving customer complaints across a wide range of banking and financial products and systemic issues investigation.
Chanelle has a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Hons) and Bachelor of Business (Accounting), as well as a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. She is a member of the Australian Insurance Law Association (AILA), the Law Institute of Victoria, Women in Insurance and Young Insurance Professionals.
