Brittany Guilleaume

Brittany Guilleaume is a solicitor in our Insurance & Health team and is based in the Sydney office. She was admitted to practice in 2014 and joined Barry.Nilsson. in 2016 She completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Sydney.

Brittany’s practice focuses on the following areas of insurance:

  • Professional indemnity
  • Public liability

Within these classes she acts for insurers and insureds in a defendant capacity on a range of matters. She also has a keen interest in cyber, environmental and international investment law, particularly where each interacts with insurance law. Prior to her experience at Barry.Nilsson, Brittany assisted with a number of high profile litigated matters and international arbitrations, gaining experience in the Supreme Court of NSW, Federal Court of Australia and High Court of Australia.

Brittany graduated with a Juris Doctor from the University of Sydney. During her degree she studied in Nepal, China and France and completed a 6 month internship with the United Nations at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda.  Prior to studying law, Brittany completed a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Sydney and worked in corporate governance at an international funds management company. Brittany is a member of the Australian Insurance Law Association (AILA), Claims Discussion Group and Women in Insurance.
