Brittany Anderson

Brittany is a Senior Associate in our Family Law team and is based in the Brisbane office.

Brittany joined BN as a Graduate in 2019. She chose to specialise in family law at the conclusion of her graduate rotations in 2020.

“I was drawn to family law because of the opportunity it presents to work meaningfully with individual clients to develop solutions that meet the unique needs of themselves and their families.”

Brittany provides advice in all areas of family law, including:

• Divorce
• Property settlements
• Child support; and
• Domestic violence

“I was initially drawn to a career in family law at Barry Nilsson, because the team are exceptionally experienced. Throughout my time at the firm, I have seen how that experience is matched with a commitment to mentoring and supporting lawyers throughout the team.”

Brittany is a collaboratively trained lawyer, and a member of the Australian Association of Collaborative Professionals.

Brittany has a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Spanish and Political Science) from the University of Queensland, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
