Fiona is a specialist in public, products liability and workers’ compensation. She is a partner of our Insurance & Health team and has been a member of the firm for more than 20 years.

Fiona manages complex claims involving indemnity and coverage issues for major insurers and also specialises in the assessment of quantum for injury claims including catastrophic injuries, dependency claims and major psychiatric illnesses.

Fiona represents a wide range of insureds including hoteliers, engineers, construction companies, volunteer associations, retailers as well as those involved in the agricultural industry.

Fiona is responsible for ensuring compliance with client timeframes and internal policies and that compliance is met on both a qualitative and quantitative measure. Fiona’s attention to detail and wealth of experience ensures advices are commercially sound and have regard to the business imperatives of clients.

Fiona regularly presents papers on topics of interest and attends upon clients and insureds to discuss the circumstances of the claim and the best way towards resolution.

Fiona is also the partner responsible for the firm’s major insurance initiative, the Annual Insurance Law Review, and compilation of the Annual Insurance Casebook which is distributed at the Reviews held in Brisbane and Sydney each year.
