Richard Leahy
Richard is a partner in our Insurance and Health team and specialises in professional indemnity insurance.
Richard acts for insurers on a broad range of professional indemnity matters, including claims, disciplinary proceedings and related inquiries, involving accountants, auditors, doctors, other medical and allied health professionals, solicitors, valuers and professionals involved in the building and construction sector such as engineers and architects. These claims often involve significant amounts of money, multiple parties and the use of expert witnesses.
Richard is a former member of the Committee of the Queensland Chapter of the Australian Professional Indemnity Group. He is currently a member of the Queensland Branch Executive Committee of the Australia & New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.
