Mary Schroeder
Mary is a Senior Associate in our Insurance & Health team. She is a sophisticated and highly capable solicitor with a wealth of insurance experience gained both in private practice and working in-house at a major Australian insurer.
Mary’s work at Barry.Nilsson. includes advising local government on public liability, professional liability and contractual claims. She also advises a variety of clients, both in Australia and overseas, on public liability issues for, among other things, sporting stadiums, concert venues, shopping centres, retailers and construction companies.
Prior to being admitted as a solicitor, Mary was a registered nurse working in a number of critical care units in Queensland hospitals. She works closely with our health law team, giving them an edge in quickly grasping complex medical conditions and treatments.
