Samantha Pillay has been promoted to Senior Associate in our Insurance & Health team. Sam was admitted in January 2005 and began working at Barry.Nilsson. in the same year. After a short stay in London she returned to the firm in 2009. Sam’s strength lies in her ability to develop excellent working relationships with the firm’s insurance clients. Combined with her strong analytical, communication and file management skills, Sam consistently achieves excellent outcomes for clients.
James Steel has been promoted to Senior Associate in Barry.Nilsson.’s Family Law team. James’ association with the firm stems over 6 years when he worked as a part-time law clerk. James has dedicated himself to the niche area of Family Law since being admitted in 2006. James’ dedication to his career is evident in this promotion.
Megan O’Rourke has been promoted to the position of Special Counsel. Megan has been working in Barry.Nilsson.’s Insurance & Health team for a period of two years. Prior to this, Megan developed extensive insurance experience both in-house and in private practice, including as a Senior Associate with a national firm. Megan’s interests also lie in education and plays a pivotal role in driving Barry.Nilsson.’s educational arm Elevista.
